Life has been so crazy lately. There has been so much going on lately and i have been slacking on my scripture reading and prayers because of it. I knew that something was missing in my life on the days when I forgot to read my scriptures or say my morning prayer and I started feeling really sad a lot of the time. Then on Monday i got an e-mail from my friend who is on a mission and in it he said something I thought was worth sharing:

"Although we are all "sons and daughters, children of a king" we are all different. Everyone of us have our own person struggles and there comes a time in everyone's life when they don't fall on others, and become independent. For a teenager, it's when they're first handed the car keys and allowed to stay up until midnight. I have found a similar feeling in regards to testimony. There comes a time when we need to be converted to the gospel ourselves. No longer relying upon the testimonies and feelings of our parents or influences of the world. We need to be introspective, look at our lives and tell our stories from a gospel point-of-view and see just how the gospel and teaching of Jesus Christ could help us. The bible says there is a "seed for every need" and we all have different needs."

This really touched me and made me think about how I can become more independent in strengthening my own testimony. I know that I am so grateful to have such a wonderful church in my life that is so giving and so focused on the family and the individual. 

I would also like to say happy late late late birthday to my sister Nicole who turned 21 on the 19th!!  YOu are an amazing sister!! Thanks for being you!!!

And happy late late late late late late late late late late birthday to my other sister Abbie who turned 17 in January!! You are such an awesome, beautiful sister!!  Love you!!

Spring Break

Oh my goodness. Sorry it has been forever since the last post. I have started so many entries but I keep putting off posting them.

This past week I was home on Spring Break!! It was amazing  :) I had so much fun just sitting at home relaxing sleeping in and hanging out with friends.  I loved every minute of it  and had so much fun. Some of the highlights of my break were going to dinner with the family, family night with the Kunzlers, sleepover at Chel's house with the VE girls, and my daddy daughter date to Market Street Grill. I would say that all in all i was a very sucessful Spring Break  :) 

Logan!!!!!!

Today has been a great day. I drove up to Logan after my classes today and I am spending the weekend with my most favorite bestest friend in the entire world!!!   I am way excited to go explore Logan and to just hang out with my friend Kim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Water Update

I am happy to report that our water is now fixed and we have hot water again!!!!! Now if my homework would just do itself then I would be a very happy camper   :)

Water!

Dear Nicole, I now know how you feel. Today we discovered that we have NO hot water!!!!! I am hoping that we can get it fixed soon because I really dont want to have to shower in the freezing cold water!!! And to make things worse it is freezing here!! This is going to be an interesting week! Oh well. Thats okay!

Not a lot has been going on in my life right now. The roommates and I had an awesome super bowl party      ( go packers!) on sunday where i tested my culinary abilities and made this :

This is my awesome seven layer dip that I slaved over for hours and hours. Check out all of our awesome food that we have! It was an AWESOME party. Although I think my favorite part was whenever the Packers would get a touchdown Whitney and Paige would end up jumping on the couch cheering and having our neighbor come over to see if we were okay because he heard screaming  :)


I hate to admit it but I am actually really starting to like this small little college. I have learned so much while I have been going here. I am so happy I decided to go here. Even though at times I feel like I am going to die of boredom or I am complaining about things like how cold it is and the fact we have no hot water, I wouldnt change a thing about my life right now!!!   I am so happy that I decided to go here!!! It has been such a blessing in my life. I know that I came here for a reason and my testimony of this church has been strengthened so much by coming here. I am so grateful for this gospel and how it has enriched and blessed my life. I have truly learned to " Love the Life I'm Living".  

Wednesday Post

Today I am thankful for my puppy!!!!

I love my little coco!!!! I wish she could just stay that size forever!!! Oh well. :) Im excited to see her this weekend!!!!  

Laundry

Today I'm thankful for washing machines. :) I didn't finish my laundry this weekend at home so no i get to do it here. I am so grateful that we have machoines that help us do our laundry so we can do everything else that we need to do. :)
