Fall, and other life lessons

Well, it has finally arrived. Fall is officially here. I didn't realize until it came how much I missed fall  :) It is such a wonderful time full of so many changes. All of the leaves changing colors, the cool fall weather and the glorious fall clothes! ( Like this little gem I have wanted for oh so long)

There are so many wonderful things about these last three months of the year. Its interesting that three of the biggest holidays in America happen in the last 3 months of the year. I am truly grateful that I get to spend these months ad holidays with my whole family this year. There is nothing greater than the family in my opinion. That is where we get our heroes and examples, best friends and companions, and most importantly, that is where we get our strength, confidence, joy and love from.

I love my life right now. I am so extraordinarily happy and uplifted by everything around me. I know that a big part of this joy and happiness comes from the fact that I KNOW Heavenly Father loves me and hears my prayers. I know that He not only hears my prayers but He answers them, nit according to my timing but to His. I loved President Uchtdorf's talk at the general relief society meeting.  I will end with a quote he said that really stuck out to me.

"God is fully aware that you and I are not perfect. Let me add, God is also fully aware that the people you think are perfect are not. And yet we spend so much time and energy comparing ourselves to others- usually comparing our weaknesses to their strengths... As a result we never celebrate our good efforts because they seem to be less than what someone else does."

Forget Me Nots:

1. Never forget to be patient and compassionate with yourself.
2. Never forget that some sacrifices are better than others.
3. Never forget that you need not wait for your "golden ticket" to be happy.
4. Never forget that the "why" of  the gospel will inspire and uplift you.
5. Never forget that your Heavenly Father knows, loves, and cherishes you.
