What Makes Me Happy Right Now

1. THIS LITTLE PUPPY- Because apparently when you leave the bathroom door open while you are getting ready for the day the first thing Coco does is hop in the shower!

2. ABBIE'S COMPUTER- I may or may not have been using Abbie's computer while she has been using my moms, and I may or may not have fallen in love with her little Mac computer...

3. Being able to see this girl and hanging out before Desert Star.

4. MY FAVORITE COZY SWEATER- I am officially in love with my cozy Union Jack Sweater.

5. I am super excited for this little girl to come home so that we can celebrate her birthday!!

6. JOBS- Right now I do not have a job so I have been applying for jobs like crazy and have even gotten a few interviews. Good thing I got my adorable new interview dress!!

7. SINGLES WARD- I have to admit that I was so wrong about going to a singles ward, because I absolutely LOVE mine!! I love all the friends I have made and I love meeting new people. I also love home evenings where we do fun things like play human battleship.

8. CRAZY COLD UTAH WEATHER-  Lately the weather here in Utah has been crazy with the fog, the inversion, the ice storm and the endless snow. But the snow sure does look pretty.

9. HOUSE- While I love how pretty it looks outside, I am loving being inside curled up in a million blankets and some hot chocolate. I love coming home and getting all warm and cozy.

10. I am super excited for my families upcoming vacation to St. George over Presidents Day!! I love spending time with the family!

11. TALKING TO FRIENDS- I love being able to text my friends that don't live here in Sandy anymore and being able to keep in touch with them. Especially this girl who is leaving in April for a mission to Uruguay! I will miss you so much Chelsea but I am so happy and excited for you to be able to go serve the Lord!!

And finally...

12. I am loving this hymn right now and wanted to share it with you! It is one of my favorites!

New Year, New Post

So, this new year I decided that I would be more current with my blog instead of just random posts here and there. SO, here I am!!

Life has been crazy lately, but it has also been amazing! I am living at home right now and I am doing a program with BYU-Idaho called the Pathway Program. It is online classes right now along with an institute class and I am LOVING it! I am also going to the singles ward here in Sandy. I love my ward! It is the best ward I have ever been in and I love everyone in it so much!

While I still don't have much figured out about my life yet, I know it will all be okay!

I'm Back!!

Hello everybody!! I am back! It has been a LONG time since I last posted on here, so let me catch you up on life. :)

I finished at SLCC and started summer break. My FAVORITE little sister graduated from Hillcrest High School!! I am so proud of her!! We had so much fun at her graduation... as you can see we just had the best time sitting through 2+ hours of boring old men talking about nothing.  :)

I had alot of fun adventures with my friends and family over the summer including a Bee's game, a trip to the Zoo, a rodeo, an awesome Joshua Radin concert with Chelsea, a trip up North, WICKED, watching one of my new favorite shows, Doctor Who :), and finally hanging out with my amazing family!! Here are some photos of my amazing summer.

I had an amazing summer full of alot of fun adventures!!

How to Survive Finals

Its finally here..... Finals are just around the corner and for the first time in 2 years I dont feel stressed out about finals..... Well at least that's what I keep telling myself. I have a feeling that a week from now I will not be feeling this way....
But after I read this I decided to try the same thing and share a few of the fun, exciting, beautiful things that are going on in my life right now.

-I finally finished unpacking all of my boxes from when I moved home last summer and my room now looks AMAZING!!

-On Thursday I am going to this with my favorite older sister:

(I am also LOVING her new cd, especially this song!)

-In exactly one week one of my very best friends is getting married to the love of her life!! I am SO happy for you Jerica!!!

-Today I walked from my car( parked as far away as it could possibly be) to my class in the POURING RAIN without an umbrella or a hood and I could not have had more FUN!

-I found a super cute black dress to wear to the wedding

- And finally, I am drinking a diet coke and listening to the rain come down outside thinking about how great life is!!

The Simple Things in Life ( My Thanksgiving Post)

You know those moments in your life that at the time dont seem very significant at all but looking back you realize those are the ones you remember because thats when you were the happiest?
I have been thinking about those moments in my life lately and how they have shaped my life.

They are simple things like running over barefoot to pop's house and him rubbing my little cold toes while we watch golf and eat croutons and drink juice, or when I was older going to visit him and talking about my future and how he knew it would be amazing- even when I wasnt so sure. I will always remember those times I had with him. He showed me what it truly meant to be faithful and strong in your testimony until the very end.

Those moments when you go pick up your best friend from school and it is like you were never apart even tough you haven't seen each other in months. Or spending your summer with your best friend just sitting on the couch watching scrubs and listening to Joshua Radin.

And then there are those moments with the ones who know and love you best. Whether its sitting on a bench eating ice cream in Disneyland, a car ride spent laughing hysterically with your mom and sisters and everything, the "underwear" incident.., the van that wouldnt let us out, or even having a "tramtasticday". These memories are ones that I will never forget. All of these things that have happened in my life have made me a happier, stronger, kinder, braver, and more spiritual person and I am grateful for that. My thanksgiving was spent thinking about the simple moments in my life and how I am grateful for every one of them.

Fall, and other life lessons

Well, it has finally arrived. Fall is officially here. I didn't realize until it came how much I missed fall  :) It is such a wonderful time full of so many changes. All of the leaves changing colors, the cool fall weather and the glorious fall clothes! ( Like this little gem I have wanted for oh so long)

There are so many wonderful things about these last three months of the year. Its interesting that three of the biggest holidays in America happen in the last 3 months of the year. I am truly grateful that I get to spend these months ad holidays with my whole family this year. There is nothing greater than the family in my opinion. That is where we get our heroes and examples, best friends and companions, and most importantly, that is where we get our strength, confidence, joy and love from.

I love my life right now. I am so extraordinarily happy and uplifted by everything around me. I know that a big part of this joy and happiness comes from the fact that I KNOW Heavenly Father loves me and hears my prayers. I know that He not only hears my prayers but He answers them, nit according to my timing but to His. I loved President Uchtdorf's talk at the general relief society meeting.  I will end with a quote he said that really stuck out to me.

"God is fully aware that you and I are not perfect. Let me add, God is also fully aware that the people you think are perfect are not. And yet we spend so much time and energy comparing ourselves to others- usually comparing our weaknesses to their strengths... As a result we never celebrate our good efforts because they seem to be less than what someone else does."

Forget Me Nots:

1. Never forget to be patient and compassionate with yourself.
2. Never forget that some sacrifices are better than others.
3. Never forget that you need not wait for your "golden ticket" to be happy.
4. Never forget that the "why" of  the gospel will inspire and uplift you.
5. Never forget that your Heavenly Father knows, loves, and cherishes you.

I'm back!!!!!!
Sorry I haven't posted for so long!!! I'm determined to keep up with my blog from now on!! So much has happened since my last post!! Where to start!!

I finished up at Snow in April and then moved home. I had an amazing summer and decided to transfer to SLCC instead of going back to Snow. This summer I had so much fun!! I went on a trip to Las Vegas and St. George with the family and got to see "The Little Mermaid" at Tuachan. i hung out with friends and family. I went on a last minute road trip to San Diego with some amazing friends. And I started going to my singles ward instead of the family ward.
Pretty awesome summer!!! Here's some pictures of my awesome adventures!!

I will add more pictures when I get a chance. This summer was also a summer of changes in my life.
I also decided to repaint and redecorate my bedroom and build a bookshelf into one of the walls. This has been a work in progress all summer and it is almost done now!! I will post pictures of the finished product when its time. I am very happy with how its turned out so far. Thanks mom and dad for all your help with this.
Also this summer one of my best friends moved in for a few months until school started. I had so much fun hanging out with you all summer Chelsea! Thanks for being such an amazing friend!

I have learned so much this summer about honesty, happiness, friendship, testimonies, and most of all, myself. I am so happy with my life and I'm so grateful for the experiences in my life because they have made me so much stronger and have made me a better person. I have come to realize what it really means to
"Love the Life You're Living"  :)
